• Ceremony.

Choosing a venue where you can have your ceremony and reception means that guests are not having to travel between locations and it allows for a seamless flow of events as you celebrate with your family and friends.

A garden wedding ceremony overlooking the water at Cottage Point provides for a stunning backdrop.

There are three lawns on the property with which you can hold your ceremony. The lawn in this photo is the Top Lawn (if you have a marquee installed this is usually where an outdoor bar will be set-up if you are having one) In the case of wet weather we can assist you with booking a marquee or depending on your guest numbers you may wish to have your ceremony inside the venue.

The most popular lawn for a wedding ceremony is the Lower Lawn, this lawn is closest to the water and has a tree that can form a ‘natural arch’. You can use the white folding chairs (included with venue hire) for your ceremony. (we commonly suggest 24 chairs for your ceremony)

  • Cocktail Wedding.

A cocktail/ stand up wedding is perfect at Cottage Point and allows couples to make the most of the spaces.

Your ceremony out on the lawn followed by drinks and mingling on the lawn, think live music, lawn games and a grazing station.

The reception can continue outside with the festoon lights providing a beautiful ambience as the sun goes down or move your guests inside for dancing and formalities. There are lots of options when it comes to a cocktail style wedding and should the weather change plans the styling proposed for the lawn can be moved inside.

Inside the venue a fairy light canopy covers the room and provides a magic atmosphere.

  • Formal Wedding.

A formal wedding or sit down wedding at Cottage Point combines canapé hour with a seated meal for guests.

You may select a shared main only or choose a shared 3 course menu.

Inside the venue you can seat up to 120 guests without a dance floor or 72-96 with a dance floor. We have also had couples choose to have a sit-down dinner inside a clear roof marquee which also seats 96 guests.
