Commonly Asked Questions

Q. Can we have our fur baby involved in our wedding ceremony?

A. Yes, your dog is welcome to be a part of your wedding ceremony and is permitted on the lawns. If your fur baby is your ring bearer and when it is time for family photos, your fur baby can be off the leash, all other times they need to be on a leash. They are not permitted inside the venue. They are not able to stay at the on-site accommodation and need to be taken off-site after your ceremony. Some wonderful vendors have worked at our venue and can assist with caring for your pet and transport.

Q. Can we bring our own caterer?

A. Yes, you can select a caterer of your choosing. They need to be a professional business and we would need a copy of their Public Liability Policy sent to us prior to them working on site.

A. The marquee commonly installed at Cottage Point is a 10x9m marquee with wooden integrated floor, 2 ramps leading off the marquee to the lawn and a ramp directly leading into the marquee, clear walls, dimmable fairy lights, weights underneath the floor, install and pack-up. Cost estimate $6,300 - $6,800+ plus the cost to hire the venue the ‘Day Prior’ and ‘Day After’ for marquee install and dismantle only.

Q. How do guests get to the venue?

A. We suggest that you book buses to transport your guests. Buses up to 39 seater can safely turn around at Cottage Point. We suggest selecting a central location for guests to meet at and a location that once they are dropped back there later in the night that there are other means of transport for them to get home (l.e taxi, uber, buses, trains)

Make it your own.

By choosing to get married in a blank canvas venue you can make decisions that reflect the experience you wish to create. From the food you serve to the drinks available to guests… maybe you are part of a wine club or have a particular French champagne that you want to include as you got engaged in Paris.

Your vendors have access to the venue from 9am which is amazing for set-up and any large floral installations and furniture deliverers. No 1hr bump-in stress here.
